Hellenic American University is an American university that is chartered in the state of New Hampshire. It was established as a non-profit, United States institution of higher education on May 11, 2004 through passage of an Act of the General Court of the State of New Hampshire and is regularly monitored by the competent regulatory authority (Higher Education Commission).

Hellenic American University is accredited by the oldest American accrediting body, the New England Commission of Higher Education (NECHE).

Hellenic American University/College is monitored and accredited in terms of its instructional sites, programs and degrees awarded through both its Nashua and Athens campuses.
